EDUCATION:
I earned a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction in Middle Grades Language Arts Education as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from UNCG. I also completed an Add-on licensure in Academically Gifted Education from UNCP. I am highly qualified in English/Language Arts, Social Studies, Theater Arts, and Academically Gifted Education. I have also received training from AVID in Social Studies as well as from the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB).
EXPERIENCE:
I have been teaching for about twenty plus years all here at ATMS/ WMS. I look forward to yet another great year learning with and teaching another group of eighth graders.
BIOGRAPHY:
I have lived in Randolph County my entire life and grew up as a Randleman Tiger! Even though my blood may run orange and blue, I have enjoyed teaching as a Bulldog, now as a Warrior for the past twenty plus years! I am married and have one daughter. We had a dog named Poochie (06-21), and she will forever be a part of our family as well! Christ is my greatest teacher. I feel extremely blessed to be able to do what I do!
