EDUCATION:

     I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with two bachelor's degrees.  One in General Agriculture and one in Agricultural and Extension Education.  I have also completed graduate classes in Middle School through UNC-Charlotte.

EXPERIENCE:

     I have been teaching Agricultural Education for over 20 years.  I spent 12 years at Davie High School, teaching a wide range of agricultural education classes...from Ag Production to Horticulture to Natural Resources Management.  In 2010, I started the Agricultural Education program at ATMS, now known as Wheatmore Middle School.  I love teaching middle school, and especially love teaching about agriculture!

BIOGRAPHY:

     I was born in Washington D.C., and grew up in Maryland in the D.C. suburbs.  I moved to Salisbury, North Carolina in 1988 to teach and now consider North Carolina my home!  My hobbies include gardening, fishing and reading.  I enjoy spending time with my 2 cats and enjoying nature.  I love teaching agriculture!!
