EDUCATION:
I am a product of the Randolph County School System and had the privilege to walk the halls of Archdale-Trinity Middle School as a student before becoming a teacher. After graduating high school, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition, I obtained a Post-Baccalaureate Alternative Initial Licensure in Special Education from UNCG.
EXPERIENCE:
I am excited to be moving into the 20-21 school year as a second year teacher. Year one certainly gave me the opportunity to learn in ways I hadn't before and I look forward to helping my students build knowledge through a blended learning platform with confidence.
BIOGRAPHY:
I am an advocate of student effort. I push my students to dream and teach them what it means to have true GRIT in my classroom. At year end, I hope that my students excel educationally and leave having gained a newfound goal that they aim to achieve through personal perseverance.
