.          I teach 7th Grade students PowerPoint, Spreadsheets and Word.

.          I teach 8th Grade students Exploring Business and Entrepreneurship.

 ·          From 2002 until 2009, instructed 7th grade students and 8th grade students on Software Applications (Word, Spreadsheets, and Databases).

·          Taught Technology (animation, web site design, podcasting, Internet research, etc.) to 7th and 8th grade students.

·          Raised school’s NC State Computer performance test scores year after year by offering free tutoring before and after school, on work days, on Saturdays and at summer school.



 ·         Developed and facilitated courses approved for CEU renewal credit for faculty on such topics as multimedia usage, internet research, Smart Board, Blogs, Software Applications (Word, Spreadsheets, Databases), 

 ·         Helped teachers integrate technology into class lessons



·         Presented “Alice: the Free, Fun and Easy Way To Introduce Students to Computer Programming at the North Carolina Technology in Education Conference for the past two years.



 ·         Attended the Duke University “Adventures in Alice” programming during the previous  two summer seminars. Learned the animation software discussed by Randy Pausch in the “Last Lecture.” Helped to create animation lesson plans and assisted with a summer camp for children to learn animation on Duke’s campus. 



·         Received an award from the North Carolina Technology in Education Conference for 2009. Of the 160 conference sessions, my session was voted by teacher survey feedback as one of the top 3 sessions of the event.

 ·         Completed Randolph Community College’s Mentor Training 3-23-05

·         Participant in Intel’s Project Start Up. This “Intel Teach to the Future” grant provides teachers with intense software and hardware training from Intel.

Miss Witkowski strives to integrate both her academic and real world business experience to provide meaningful curriculum related technology lessons for her middle school students. She wishes to give them the tools and strategies to become successful 21st Century citizens. She hopes her passion for life long learning is transferred to her students so they will realize how powerful a good education is.
