Good evening ATMS, this is Brian Hodgin calling with a few announcements and reminders.

Due to the holiday break, Archdale-Trinity Middle School will be closed to the public from 5:00 p.m.on November 21 until 8:00 a.m. on November 27.

Our 8th grade students need to bring in a children's book for the Dr. Seuss Day Project. The final deadline to bring in their book is November 30th. Books can be gently used or purchased new.

If you would like to donate extra books or money for this project, it would be greatly appreciated! Students can bring donations to the office or to Mrs. Ross in room 307.

Attention 8th Grade Parents and Students.  Wednesday November 29 The Randolph Early College High School will have a recruitment presentation for parents and students.  This will be from 6:00 – 7:30 in the media center.  Come see what the Early College has to offer.

Attention 7th grade parents. Students recently received paperwork on a field trip we will take to the STEAM Expo at Appalachian State University on April 24, 2018. The cost of the trip is $45, and the first deposit of $25 is due no later than November 28. Because our reservations for tour buses will be based on the number of deposits we receive by this date, it is important to meet the deadline. Please have students turn in all the paperwork with the deposit to the first period teacher to assure proper credit is given to students. Additionally, we welcome as many parents to attend as possible. The cost for parents and payment due dates are the same as they are for students. We appreciate all who are able to give the time to make it a special day for our students.

As we begin our winter sports season of basketball and wrestling, I want to remind players, coaches and spectators the importance of displaying proper sportsmanship.  Help us represent the Archdale-Trinity community by refraining from any negative comments or actions as we support our student athletes and coaches this season.  I am looking forward to cheering on our Bulldogs and we appreciate your positive support and encouragement.  Go Bulldogs!

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
