Paced by a balanced scoring attack, ATMS knocked off South Asheboro, 39-6, in the first round of the Randolph County Conference Tournament.

Kynnedi Routh (four steals, two rebounds, two assists) and Alyssa Allred (four rebounds, two steals) each scored eight points, while Bri Hill (three assists, rebound) and Kaelyn Whitehart (rebound) each added five points and five steals for the 'Dogs, who raced to a 25-0 first-half advantage.
Maddie Nichols (four steals, two rebounds, assist) and Gracie Hodgin (three rebounds, steal, assist) netted four points apiece, and Matilda Leonard collected three rebounds, an assist and a steal to go along with her trey.
Kennedy Jackson pulled down a team-high seven rebounds and chipped in two points, two steals and an assist.
Maggie Messner had three steals and an assist; Lindsey Hart had two steals and a rebound; Madeline Mullinix had a rebound, assist and steal; and Ava Nance and Hannah Williams each had a steal.
The Bulldogs (12-3) travel to Wheatmore High School on Friday to face Uwharrie Ridge in a semifinal contest.
